Affiliate Manager Spotlight: Jamie Kidd, Midwest Affiliate Manager

Jamie Kidd joined DRN in 2017 after working in several field sales roles for other technology companies. Jamie covers midwestern states including Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and has recently expanded his territory to Louisiana, Mississippi and Oklahoma. Andy Cameron, SVP Recovery, talked with Jamie about what makes him so passionate and successful in his role at DRN.

AC: What do you enjoy most about working with DRN affiliates?

JK: I’ve been in field sales for a long time. My job now is about much more than that. It’s not just about the sale – it’s guiding our affiliates to succeed using DRN technology. It’s about building a relationship with them from the beginning – handling questions, giving them hands-on help using and understanding the technology, following up, and understanding what they need to be successful.

AC: What are you most proud of as a DRN Affiliate Manager?

JK: I think I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built with my affiliates. We have great rapport and I try to be approachable and understand their needs. Communication is a huge part of my job and how I can help my affiliates be successful using our technology.

I’m also proud of how I’ve been able to continue growing and learning about our analytics so I can shine a light on what it can do for our affiliates. Then, I can best help my clients understand how to maximize it to grow their businesses.

Meeting our Affiliates goals and helping them grow their businesses is what motivates me every day.

AC: What do you hope to accomplish in 2021?

JK: This year I look forward to visiting all my affiliates in person again. I want to continue helping all my Affiliates to grow and focus on how I am able to best  support them – especially after the tough year we all had in 2020. I’ve got a number of new Affiliates that we gained through our partnership with MVTrac, so I’m excited to bring them on board with our technology, do some hands-on teaching and integrate them into the DRN family.

AC: What do you want affiliates to know about you and about DRN?

JK: I want my affiliates to know that, for me: it’s all about seeing them succeed. . I want  our Affiliates  to understand how much we value and appreciate them. Our team, at every level, is truly committed to supporting our affiliates and are here to advocate for them and their business every step of the way.

AC: Besides DRN and helping our affiliates succeed … what else are you passionate about?

JK: I love skiing and the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. I also enjoy time at the gym. Of course, I’m most passionate about my kids – I have a 14-year-old daughter and an 11-year-old son.

Andy shared some additional thoughts about Jamie and what makes him so successful.

“Jamie is a pleasure to work with and brings tremendous value to our team. He’s grown and become stronger every year and continues to be a phenomenal team player. He’s never stagnant – he’s always learning and evolving and is one of the best on our team at using analytics as he works with his clients. He’s masterful at showing the value of what DRN can bring to the table, and then how affiliates can use it and grow it to help them reach their goals.”
