Ally Challenge Offers Great Golf and Even Better Client Conversation

We had the chance to attend the 2021 Ally Challenge, a one-of-a-kind golf event at the historic Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Grand Blanc, Michigan. The Ally Challenge is an official event on the PGA TOUR Champions and benefits local charities. Ally Financial is a leading digital financial services company and the title sponsor.

Ally put on a great week for us, with dinners, golf outings and a great pro-am tournament. The pro-am was the highlight for us. Our pros were Doug Barron and Tom Gillis, and it was a thrill to spend time with them and a fun – but humbling – experience to play a round of golf with them. Following the pro-am, we were able to attend the tournament and watch our recent pro partners compete for the $2 million purse.

Beyond that, we had lots of time with the executive team from Ally, which is a rare opportunity. It was great to be with them in this relaxed setting where we could talk about work but also get to know each other on a personal level. Chances like that are hard to come by and the pandemic has made “face time” like this even more important and meaningful.

A huge thank-you to Ally for putting on such a great event and welcoming us to Michigan. We look forward to our next rounds of golf – and collaboration – with you!
